Pall-Ex Group's warehousing and storage subsidiary, Pall-Ex Logistics, is significantly enhancing its services in Devon, Cornwall, and the wider South West region with the construction of a cutting-edge logistics centre.

This new facility represents Pall-Ex’s commitment to strategic investment in quality and sustainability across the organisation. Businesses throughout the region will benefit from Pall-Ex Logistics' quality services, which include next-day palletised freight distribution, warehousing, fulfilment and storage, groupage and LCL shipping, as well as comprehensive general haulage services.
Construction is now underway in Launceston, Cornwall, a prime location with excellent transport links to the surrounding area and easy access to both the A30 and A39.
Spanning a 110,000 square foot site facility on three acres that comprises a 20,000 square foot warehouse, an open-sided canopy for the safe loading and unloading of vehicles, a dock leveller facility within the covered canopy, an office and administrative space and dedicated battery storage for the safe containment of potentially volatile lithium-ion batteries.
Additionally, the site also features a concrete yard to provide hardstanding for trucks and trailers. The entire layout is strategically designed for 'forward only' movement of lorries arriving on-site, effectively minimising waiting times, enhancing health and safety protocols, and ensuring smooth traffic flow.
Emphasising Pall-Ex’s commitment to environmental responsibility, this hub will also incorporate solar panels and EV charging points, enabling the business to expand its electric fleet and lead the way in sustainable logistics.
