Since consolidating the sites in Northampton, Essex, Dorset, Devon & Cornwall and Surrey under the Pall-Ex Logistics brand and launching the UK Storage and Fulfilment Network alongside its 3PL division, the logistics provider has seen an increase in service levels and overall freight volumes.

Investment of over £230,000 into its flagship 3PL warehouse in Northampton and the introduction of cutting-edge warehouse management technology has enabled Pall-Ex Logistics to offer a full-service solution to customers beyond its pallet network capabilities, including: warehousing, fulfilment services, container devanning, general haulage.

Despite the ongoing challenges across the industry, Pall-Ex Logistics has increased commercial opportunities for both customers and members, with 120 of Pall-Ex Group’s shareholder members joining the Storage and Fulfilment Network to provide storage for over 250,000 pallets.

The past 12 months have been marked by a number of key events, including the appointment of Paul Pegg as Managing Director – Pall-Ex Logistics, the introduction of NexusWMS and the UK Storage and Fulfillment Network being shortlisted for the Innovation Award at the 2025 Motor Transport Awards.

Judges for the Innovation Award hailed the UK Storage and Fulfilment Network as a “landmark innovation, setting a new benchmark for how pallet networks can evolve to meet changing market demands”.

Paul Pegg, Managing Director of Pall-Ex Logistics, comments: “We are proud of everything that we have achieved over the last 12 months at Pall-Ex Logistics and despite the challenges faced across the sector, we are continuing to see growth in all areas of the business, particularly in the warehousing and 3PL division.

“The goal of bringing together our owned operations sites was to streamline services and provide customers with a complete freight solution, and it is great to reflect on how the business has gone from strength to strength over the last year. Being shortlisted for the Innovation Award is a real highlight, as it acknowledges our commitment to future-proofing the business to ensure the success of our members.

“Pall-Ex Logistics has now successfully established itself as a comprehensive logistics provider thanks to the addition of the Storage and Fulfilment Network and 3PL services to our already successful pallet distribution offering.”
